Cheats Christmas Cake

    1 tbsp of melted apricot jam, with no lumps
    200g marzipan
    300g ready to roll white icing
    Edible gold or silver spray
    Edible golden balls
    Ribbon to decorate
    1 x 8cm Christmas cake

    Method:

    Glaze your Christmas cake with the apricot jam. Cover the cake with the marzipan. Cover with 250g of the ready to roll icing.

    Roll the remaining icing out and cut snowflakes from the icing. Spray with the paint to really make them look pretty. Assemble onto the cake and stick in place with a little runny icing. Add edible balls and ribbon.

    Easy easy! Nobody will ever know that you didn’t make the cake yourself!
