There has been a lot of debate recently about this, and I’m interested to know what people think. For me the most important thing is that parents follow their own instincts, and those of their child.
If you can’t stand mess, it’s pointless embarking on baby-led weaning, because the stress you feel will simply transfer to your baby.
I followed a traditional feeding pattern with both my two. Like all kids they have their preferences with food, but now both enjoy a varied diet and love to sit down for their meals most of the time. I chose to spoon-feed more for practical reasons than anything else. I have a busy life and it worked for us as a family.
What do you all do (did you do)? Are you fans or otherwise of one method or the other?
