Children and the internet

    It’s vital to get some sort of block on your internet as far as children are concerned or better still sit with them when they use the internet.

    My little one was watching episodes of Fireman Sam on the iPad on YouTube, I was sat with him and he left to go to the loo. I was mortified to see “adult related content” to the side of the screen!

    Even the innocent of things can trigger these unwanted images to appear! Thankfully he was not present when this popped up! (no pun intended). Needless to say there is no more YouTube allowed in our house!

    Gosh you are so right. My daughter was looking at things on YouTube on elephants in the wild, and my other half got distracted for a minute (I was in the room doing something else). I heard the soundtrack to a video she had found and was starting to listen to that was talking about ivory being used in voodoo! Eeek!
