Surprise fridge cake

    This is delicious!

    What you’ll need:
    90g golden caster sugar
    110g unsalted butter, diced with a little extra for greasing
    150g plain biscuits
    2 tbsp golden syrup
    1 tbsp cocoa powder
    50g of 50% chocolate broken into pieces
    150g marshmallows, maltesers, smarties etc
    100g chocolate for the topping, broken into pieces

    Grease a 24 x 11cm loaf tin and line with cling film.

    Crush the biscuits. In a pan melt the butter, sugar, syrup, chocolate and cocoa. Remove from the heat and cool. Add the sweets and stir. Spoon this mixture into the tin and place on the fridge to allow it to set and leave a few hours.

    Once set, melt the 100g chocolate for the topping and spread on top. Place it back into the fridge until the chocolate has set. Once set remove from the tin and serve.
