Never say you’ll never let your kids do something, eg I’ll never give my kids a dummy, they won’t get sweets etc etc – you’re setting yourself up for a fall!

My tip for school holidays is have a fun messy baking day….cupcakes, rice crispy cakes etc the list is endless. Swallow your house proudness for one day and let them go for it. Plus side is they get treats to eat for the rest of the week and Daddy can take some in his lunch box too

Give your baby fresh fruit and veg from the get go, literally from the VERY start. It’s the best start you can give them and these eating habits will follow them for life.

Encourage your child from an early age to hold your hand when you are out walking together, even if they are wearing reigns 🙂 x

Its always a good idea to cook double amounts of dinners and then freeze them for another day, you will be so glad you did after a busy day when you really dont feel up to cooking

We have encouraged our child to get involved with growing vegetables in the greenhouse, it takes a great responsibility to do this everyday, its fun and it really did works – eating vegetables make you big and strong.

Always accept help when people offer when you have a newborn. Maybe they’re just being polite but they did offer to do a little shopping or sit with the baby while you take a shower… 🙂
